The fat cost of fast food: Each fast food meal bumps up BMI by .03, study says
Sun Feb 2, 2014
Actually, using Wendy's is a bad example. Dining there, I usually can substitute a side salad for the fries at no extra cost, which I often do, or delete the side altogether, and order just a drink and sandwich. Also down here in Texas, Wendy's offers fresh brewed iced tea, sweet and uns …
Truck slides off icy Alabama road during rare winter storm

It's a Dodge Challenger, and I'll bet Kowalski from "Vanishing Point" has nothing this guy. Sequence photos had popped up at some of the auto web sites:
Wave of jellyfish clogs up Swedish nuclear reactor, shuts it down
Tue Oct 1, 2013
When I took nuclear physics in college the term was SCRAM not scramble. Scramble is when fighter pilots mobilize. SCRAM is what reactor technicians do to shut the reactor down. According to Wikipedia this was short for “safety control rod axe man"
Flex those beer muscles at Oktoberfest stein-holding competitions

Study: Chinese parents bigger fibbers than American ones
Wed Feb 20, 2013
In my house it was "Don't you know that there are kids starving in West Virginia who'll give anything for that chicken's foot." (Just joking - thanks G. Trudeau). My mom used to tell me how she had to go to school in China barefoot in the winter.
